What this site is

Open Sign Payments markets payment processing and places merchant accounts with acquiring banks and payment processors. We are not a bank. We do not issue accounts, we do not approve applications, and we do not hold or settle your funds. Approval of any merchant account is made by the acquiring bank considering the application.

The content is informational

Everything published here, including our guides to the MATCH list, card-network thresholds, fees and industry underwriting, is general information. It is not legal, financial, tax or compliance advice, and it is not a substitute for reading your own agreements with your processor or acquirer.

Card-network rules, published thresholds and processor policies change. Where we quote a card network or a processor, we attribute it and link to the source so you can check the current version. If something here has gone out of date, the source wins, not us.

No guarantee of approval or outcome

Nothing on this site is a promise that any application will be approved, that any pricing will be available to you, or that a MATCH or VMSS listing can be removed. Only the acquirer that placed a listing can remove it, and only in the narrow circumstances the card networks define. Any figure quoted to you becomes authoritative only in a written agreement you sign with the acquirer or processor.

Using the site

Use it lawfully. Do not attempt to disrupt it, scrape it at a volume that degrades it for others, or submit false information through the contact form, particularly about the ownership or nature of a business, since misrepresentation on a merchant application is itself grounds for termination.

Intellectual property

The written copy, images and branding on this site belong to Open Sign Payments unless otherwise noted. You may read it, link to it, and quote briefly with attribution. Please do not reproduce whole pages or branded materials without permission. Card-brand names are the property of their respective owners and are used here factually, not as endorsement.

Third-party links

We link to primary sources such as card-network documentation and processor policy pages. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or availability.

Liability

The site is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Open Sign Payments is not liable for losses arising from reliance on general information published here. Decisions about your business belong to you and to the institutions you contract with.
